Squid Printer

Here we are with a new work!
Let me introduce you the Squid Printer, a 3D printer designed for underwater works.
It’d be amazing if it really exists. But hey, you can have a little taste of it through this 3D work!!

The original concept was made by Tom McDowell for the ‘Beneath the Waves’ challenge:

RIgged with Maya.
I used a lot of joints for the tentacle to obtain a smooth deformation. Then i binded the tentacle mesh to a curve through an iK Spline, as it's easier moving CVs to animate it instead of rotating all those joints individually.
